The very first class of Design IT, it was totally different from what I had expected it to be. My understanding of this unit after finishing my first class is, there are multiple ways to solve a problem. Which means for every problem there could be multiple solutions, but when design thinking is applied to solve a problem the solution obtained would be creative, innovative and efficient.
In this class, we had an activity where we were divided into groups and we had to write down what design thinking was according to over understanding. Later this note was swapped with other group’s paper and we had to transform their understanding of DT into a visually understandable drawing.
These papers were one last time swapped again where the groups needed to understand and write down what the drawing was trying to portray.
Doing this activity I was able to understand that, visual presentation will give a very good understanding of what is we are trying to convey.
